The Pentagon Partnership, was formed in 1998 and has gone on to provide an excellent service for many individuals and businesses. Initially trading as Appointed Representatives of a network, a decision was made to apply for direct authorisation to the Financial Conduct Authority. This was to ensure that our independent status would be unaffected by “outside influences and any perceived bias”. This authorisation was achieved and confirmed on 1st October 2014 and our registration number is 627747.
Two of the originating Partners remain in the business, Paul Jefcoate and Clive Merritt, although Clive stepped down as a Partner in 2017 he remains as an Associate, still providing an excellent service for his clients. At the point that Clive stepped down, we were pleased to announce that Darryl Bradford, our mortgage and protection specialist, who has been with us since 2003, accepted the post of Junior Partner. All three have a wealth of experience and have been dealing with the needs of clients for many years, Paul and Clive since the 1980’s.
As a company we believe in treating every client as we would wish to be treated ourselves, fairly, promptly and with a tailored service on all occasions.
Paul and Clive have achieved the Diploma in Investment Planning and Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning respectively.
